Social Media Coordinator (6mth interim position - remote)
We are seeking an Interim Social Media Coordinator (6 month contract) to develop and implement our Social Media strategy, enhancing our online presence and maximizing our marketing and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy in collaboration with the Marketing & Development departments and other relevant teams.
Define and track key social media KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
Oversee and manage social media content, ensuring its quality and relevance.
Stay informed about the latest social media best practices and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
Utilize social media marketing and scheduling tools for efficient content distribution.
Collaborate with the team to ensure informative and visually appealing content.
Engage with industry professionals and influencers through social media to build a robust network.
Provide constructive feedback and insights to improve our social media initiatives.
Requirements:
Prior experience in social media management or related field.
Familiarity with various social media platforms, analytics, and scheduling tools.
Video editing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Strong understanding of social media best practices and emerging trends.
20hrs/week. Paid position.
