Allah Wishes Ease by Ahmad Adisa

Ahmad, one of our students, sent us this letter…

During a recent “shakedown” in prison, he was mistakenly charged with a crime and put in the “hole”. It was cold and he wasn’t given pants, having to use the blanket to cover himself for prayer.

But he had a cellmate: a struggling Muslim brother.

Early the next day, the mistake was realized and Ahmad was sent back to his regular cell.

But in those few hours that he spent in the "hole", he was able to use the knowledge he gained from Tayba’s courses to get the brother back to prayer and out of the spiritual despair he had fallen into.

It's an amazing story that I've shared with a number of my friends.

You can read the whole thing in his own words…
