The ECHO newspaper is the resident newspaper that is distributed to all Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) residents, TDCJ departments and various external stakeholders, including community subscribers. The ECHO is supervised by a managing editor, published 10 times a year and is regulated by the district through a memorandum of understanding with TDCJ.
